The Team

Dianne Jago is a wife and mother of three living on a farm in Central Pennsylvania. She has always desired to use her love for photography and writing “for the kingdom” but never expected it would take the form of a publication. In October of 2013, Dianne felt confirmation that God was calling her to start Deeply Rooted Magazine and in early 2014 the magazine became a reality. Dianne serves as Deeply Rooted’s founder and chief editor where her day to day tasks range from coordinating magazine content to packaging magazines on a daily basis. Aside from the different callings God has given her, you can find Dianne perusing antique shops, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Ethan Jago is married to Dianne. He currently holds an Associate's Degree in Survival Instruction and a Baccalaureate Degree from Southern Illinois University in Work Force Education and is currently in seminary. He has a passion for apologetics and training missionaries traveling to countries closed to Christianity. Ethan's hobbies include surfing, skydiving, and working on motorcycles. Ethan serves Deeply Rooted Magazine as what he likes to call himself "the chief laborer", specializing in picking up heavy boxes filled with magazines and moving them; he also serves as marketing director where he partners with other companies whose brands align with DRM's mission.

Lindsay is married to a Coast Guard rescue swimmer, and they are currently stationed in North Carolina with their two children, Lucy and Lincoln. Lindsay earned a creative writing BFA in her home state of Minnesota and has worked as a newspaper reporter, elementary school teacher, and bookstore clerk. She now enjoys the sanctifying work of staying at home with her kids and working from her bedroom office. In her spare time, Lindsay loves writing, cooking, tackling her ever-growing reading list, and adventuring with her family.

Lexy Sauvé lives in Ogden, Utah, with her family where God’s called her to be a helper to her husband Brian, a homemaker, and momma to Ari Judah and Ira Lewis. She also serves alongside her husband in ministry at Refuge Church in Riverdale, Utah. She enjoys spending as much time in God’s Word as she can, journaling, cooking, reading, visiting as many coffee shops as she can, and going on adventures with her boys. She has a degree in Creative Writing and sees her pen as a way to share what God’s been teaching her with others. As Contributing Editor for Deeply Rooted, Lexy spends a lot of time behind the scenes writing articles and excerpts for the website and magazine. In addition, Lexy reviews submissions, conducts interviews, and brainstorms new ideas for the magazine and website.

Angela is from Mesquite, Texas, and is thrilled that the Lord made a way for her to put down roots near her family in East Dallas. Writing and singing make her really happy. Angela attended Texas A&M University and studied communication. When she’s not doing journalism for various digital publications, you can find her reading the Word and books that direct her thoughts to Jesus, eating Tex-Mex, and attending folk concerts in Dallas. Angela is overjoyed that she gets to see how the Lord is growing and equipping women for ministry while serving as a copy editor for the magazine.

Katelyn calls Mission Viejo, California, her home and is excited to be a part of a publication that is passionate about serving its readers as well as serving the Lord. After graduating with an English degree from Vanguard University, she knew that she wanted to implement her God-given talents in a way that would impact the world for Him. Thankfully, Deeply Rooted gave her such an opportunity by allowing her to be a copy editor. Apart from the world of editing, Katelyn spends time with her husband, their cats, and as much of the Southern California sunshine that she can.

Katie is originally from Texas, but she and her husband now call Los Angeles their home.
