The Team

Dianne Jago is a military wife and mother of three living in 1850's farmhouse in Central Pennsylvania. She has always desired to use her love for photography and writing for the glory of God but never expected it would take the form of a publication. In October of 2013, Dianne and her husband felt led to start Deeply Rooted Magazine, and in early 2014 the magazine became a reality. Dianne serves as Deeply Rooted’s chief editor where her day to day tasks related to the magazine range from coordinating magazine content to packaging magazines. She and her husband also serve in their local church as Young Adult leaders. Dianne loves to peruse antique shops, read, and spend time outside with her family.

ETHAN JAGO       |       CO-FOUNDER          |      PENNSYLVANIA

Ethan Jago is married to Dianne. He serves full time in the Air Force National Guard. He currently holds an Associate's Degree in Survival Instruction, a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University in Work Force Education, and is in seminary pursuing a master's degree from The Master's University. He has a passion for apologetics and training missionaries traveling to countries closed to Christianity. Ethan's hobbies include surfing, skydiving, and working on motorcycles. Ethan serves Deeply Rooted Magazine as what he likes to call himself "the chief laborer", specializing in picking up heavy boxes filled with magazines and moving them; he also serves in a variety of other areas including Biblical content review, writing, and brand strategizing.

Lindsay is married to a Coast Guard rescue swimmer, and they are stationed in North Carolina with their two children. Lindsay earned a creative writing BFA in her home state of Minnesota and has worked as a newspaper reporter, elementary school teacher, and bookstore clerk. She now enjoys the sanctifying work of staying at home with her kids and working from her bedroom office. In her spare time, Lindsay loves writing, cooking, tackling her ever-growing reading list, and adventuring with her family.

Théa Rosenburg and her husband, Mitch, live in the Pacific Northwest with their four small daughters. Since graduating with a degree in creative writing, Théa has worked as a dental assistant, a jeweler, an indie musician, a peddler of hand-knit gifts, an amateur Latin teacher, and an informal librarian. As a contributing editor for Deeply Rooted, Théa gets to tinker with words and bless other ladies: two of her very favorite ways to serve God. She blogs at Little Book, Big Story.

Irene is a wife and mother of five currently residing in southeastern Wisconsin. She has worked as a CPA at a home health agency for over 25 years and serves as Deeply Rooted's financial manager. She handles all the bookkeeping, budgeting, and helps with a lot of the behind the scenes paperwork. She loves gardening, raising chickens, and spending time with her grandkids.

Mallory Manning lives in Indiana with her husband and two energetic pups. She spends her days with college students, working in campus ministry at Purdue University. Mallory is a self-proclaimed homebody who feels most at ease with a book in hand and most creative in the kitchen. Reading and writing have always been tools to help her encounter God's grace and process what he's teaching her. Mallory is passionate about seeing women abide in their Savior, and she’s grateful to come alongside Deeply Rooted in this pursuit.

Amarachi Bard is a wife to Mike and mama of two little girls, Auden and Joona. She studied English and History at Temple University and has since dabbled in freelance work as a writer and social media curator. She thinks some of the best moments in life happen around the dinner table, and she and her husband love inviting friends into their home to enjoy a meal—usually tacos! She has a passion for seeing individuals walking in their true identities and callings. She is currently serving as the Shop Manager for Deeply Rooted and is so excited to further God's Kingdom in this capacity.

Emily is from the small community of Greenpoint, located in the Blue Mountains of Central Pennsylvania. She graduated from Lancaster Bible College with an Associates degree in Biblical Studies. Emily currently runs an online shop through which she sells hand painted and lettered canvases. Emily has four brothers and enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading, playing the piano, and being creative. Working with Deeply Rooted as their shipping coordinator is a meaningful opportunity to her, and she is honored to play a part in hand-wrapping Deeply Rooted products to readers.
